run a coathanger wire down the drain tubes, the two back ones are the difficult ones, the front ones you can get with the sunroof just open. if the drains aren't working, i.e. clogged, then the water will spill or drip in. sunroof's aren't meant to be sealed systems, they are actually designed to take in some water, but they get clogged over time.

And a no to that, that looks kinda gheto when done. but if you dont care about how your car looks, sure, silicone the whole sunroof closed. But why not just take the sunroof out and make a filler panel?

I have a hardly used (that is, two weeks on the car) rubber seal if ya want it, perfect shape. I ended up replacing the whole sunroof glass as the plastic surround had also cracked. Both the seal and the sunroof are available from Nissan. Be happy to send you the rubber for half of whatever I paid for it.
The seal does get tired after that many years, but indeed plugged drains are very likely also.

I found that weed eater trimmer string works real good for unclogging the drain holes.

Check the seal between the sunroof glass and the metal "trim ring" directly around the glass itself. Mine was leaking in that particular seal. That you can silicone, high quality, clear stuff, do it carefully, and wipe away all ugly excess.

If you get pissed, you can just silicone that entire bitch shut. I could care less about aesthetics, but most folks never notice the ghetto-fabulous fix from outside the car. I did it well, and cleanly.

That ain't metal, m'friend - it's some sort of Bakelite material - leastwise on the B13 - Nissan shoulda been shot for using it. It becomes brittle and dry with age; glad the silicone worked.

Yup, ya sure can. I bought one, my bakelite surrounding the glass (which is what holds the gasket) was also cracked, so I got to buy the whole thing. OW. I have the gasket, cost was - hm - I see it for $40 plus ship, I paid I think close to $50, but that's not relevant, you can find it for 40, if you want mine, you can have it for $20 plus ship. As above, it's perfect. I only have 2 counts pos, check with Dre, he'll vouch for me. Send a ck or we can do paypal, I'll send it to ya.
I'll also take you thru how to do it so you can hopefully avoid screwing up the bakelite.
