my spark plugs keep getting burnt!!! if i drive longer than 30 minutes, then it gets toasted...

Are they gaped right. Thats weird they get fully burnt up.

yes, they are gapped right... asked a local mechanic and he told me i'm running WAY TOO RICH at idle!!! i have 550 cc injectors with the walbro 255lph fuel pump... after i got my JWT ECU and installed it, it started to burn my spark plugs...

what kind of plugs are you running. tryed denso iramus though I dout that will help any. Post when you find the reason cause I would be interested in finding out the answer.

Dumb question but the ECU is setup for the correct injectors right?

correct... the JWT is programmed for the injectors... are ididiums cold or hot plugs??? i've heard several different things from several different people...

What spark plugs are they and what turbo do you have?

ran two sets of NGK... forgot which one's they were but most likely the regular copper ones... both got burnt within two hours... bought four sets of champion coppers... three are burnt while the fourth is in the car... haven't driven the car since then... turbo is the t3/t04e turbo...

Hmm... are you using the correct heat range plug? And when you say burnt, what exactly do they look like? And when the mechanic said you're running too rich at idle, that should foul the plugs, not burn them. And what's your timing set at? I'd guess if it were advanced, that could cause detonation leading to burned out plugs.

Yeah, if you were running rich, you'd be misfiring and stuff. The plugs would just be fouled. You are detonating. You aren't getting fuel. Your motor is most likely fucked up now that you've burnt your plugs so many times.
