Well I have a 92 SE-R which got a crack from wheel hop drag racing with a 6 puck and turbo on 40 dollar tires ...
The question is is it possible to switch the gears into another case(I have another case from a broken tranny) without a FSM? Should I attempt this can it be done without replacing seals and shit like that? should I just take it to a shop and ask them to switch the gears? whats the deal...any input at all will be appreciated the gears in the cracked tranny are fine...please someone help me out here ....

You can swap the gears into the other case no problem. If you haven't done a few before you might want a FSM around just for refference. You may wanna have the case on the new one welded or at least do the J-B weld trick on it. I'd put new seal's in sence it's out of tthe car. There pretty cheap.;)

what if the case I'm going to use the tranny shit the bed like 5th gear pop out 1st and 2nd didn't work am I going to have to take everything out and swap in everything like the shift linkage I mean everything?
