I'm looking at all these posts and getting confused.
The real topic is; How much N/A hp is available from a swapped in factory SR?
If I had $1500 to spend on swap parts to get hp, what engine would give what hp that I could swap with an SR20DE?
Is a VVL a VE? VVL is the acronym for the valve timing system used in a VE, right/wrong?

Help an idjot please.

The most powerful NA SR20 is the SR20VE as fitted to the P12 (W)20VE, often just called the 20V SR20VE. It has 204PS as stock. Quite rare though...

Just read the guide...

That's part of what's confusing me.
Under How many different Ve's is listed 187hp for 97-2001, and 204 for 2001 and up. Then under How much power only one is listed at 187hp. ???

Ok, I'm getting it I think.. "he most powerful NA SR20 is the SR20VE as fitted to the P12 (W)20VE, often just called the 20V SR20VE. It has 204PS as stock. Quite rare though..." is the one missing in How Much Power. That's maybe why it's missing in that category....

Oh, and these are flywheel numbers right?

There are only a couple of 20V VE's in the US, as I said, it's rare. So that's probably why it's missed off the guide further down.

Yes they are crank figures...
