I have a problem guys. The key will not come out of my girlfriends
Sentra. It will turn fine, but it will not click down past the ACC
position in order to pull it out. Unlike my Sentra, hers doesn't
have the little button that you have to push to get the key out. Now that I think about it, that's exactly what it feels like. It only
goes as far as mine goes when I don't push the button. Please help. Any ideas on what could be causing the problem TIA.

Is it an automatic? If so, put in in Park. Also try turning the steering wheel. Sometimes the lock keeps the key from coming out,

It is in Park and I have turned the shit out of the wheel. i hope I dont have to replace the whole lock mechanism.

That actually happened to me yesterday. I tried turning the wheel and the key. I finally got out of the car, locked it with the remote, then got in and tried the key and it turned.:confused:
