I was just wondering if it is at all possible to run a P28 ECU on our Nissans. Then, chip it and run crome. Use the Motes burner to do real time burning. I checked the pinout diagrams at http://www.plxdevices.com/ecudatabase.htm. Let me know if anybody has tried this or if this even has the possiblility of working.
As a side note, I am not against going to a MAP sensor, so that is not a problem.

The reason I ask is someday, Id like to try an ITB setup. I have heard great things on honda-tech about crome and its ability to run ITB set-up on DD's.

those pinout guides are a little incomplete but i say go for it... i dont see any major issues except the map and the vtec solenoid. which if not operating correctly may send the ecu into limp mode

That sounds like a lot of work to rewire the ecu, then convert the P28 (or whatever base code you use) to even allow the car to start. You might want to read this: http://www.sr20forum.com/showthread.php?t=182114

JWT actually used a Nissan ecu and rewired it into a Honda years ago. It was mentioned on the list. Anyhow they ran a maf to it and tuned it, the car ran fine. All the sensor basically work on the same scale. Its just tapping the wire for the right sensor/power/ground and adding in the map.
