A fellow autocrosser tried Sumitomo's on his racecar ('86 Civic Si) and his opinion was: "Sumitomo Tires Suck!"

That's all I know

Yup. I just bought a set from Tirerack.com. Sumitomo HTR 200's, 205/50 size for $49 each, it came to $224 with shipping. So far they are fine, although I don't think they're very grippy in the rain.

Thats where Im getting mine. I want a set for my 14'' and 13'' rims. The ones for the 13'' rims are only like $35 for 185/60/13.
BUDGET RACING at its finest.

I had a great set of Sumi HTZ's and in the winter I ran HT4's. The HT4 handle great in snow and rain and hte HTZ were good on the track. I only know a handful of people running the HTZ though as all my friends and myself now run the Khumo 712's ont he track or falken or yokohama. You shouldn't have much bad luck with them.

How do the 13" rims fit on your se-r? I was going to use 13" for my snow tires this year....do they fit? Just curious...or I can just throw them on one day to see...if it ever stops raining in NY.

I ran them on my first SE-R and thought they were a decent tire for the price. Probably not a very good auto-x tire due to the high tread wear rating but a decent road tire that'll last a long time. It all depends on your driving stayle and application. I found a set of Yoko 520's to be a great auto-x tire but they howled like a stuck pig after a few thousand miles.
