I need a Torx T50H, preferably that fits a 3/8" socket handle. Is this different from a standard T50, and can I get either at Lowe's/Home Depot/wherever?

Thanks.

That's the one. So are the T50H and T50 the same?

I might want to borrow it from you. Are you free in the evenings at all?

Sure... I'm actually kinda closing/moving this week to a new house (from erlanger to florence, no biggie) tools aren't packed yet....

I think the only difference is that the H may denote the hole in the center????? I had a T50 but not one with the center hole.... I paid like $22 from snap on, though I'm sure I got ripped, but no one locally had one and I needed it right away....
I'm here tommorow, wed. I'm busy, thursday busy, and friday I'll be at the new place...

If you want I think a bunch of us are going to import day at the local drag strip on sunday..... (can't even think of the freakin name now I'm tired)

Kent, you need the tamper proof one. Sears didn't carry it, so I bought a regular T50, and I'm going to see if I can get a someone at work to drill a hole in the center for me. if it doesn't work, I'm out the $5 for the bit.

You can't just go to a local auto parts store and by the bit? I bought mine from a local Discount Auto Parts. Worked fine.

Matt4 - we are still talking the two Torx bolts that hold the airbag module in the steering wheel, one on each side, right? Does your bit have a hole in the center?

I'm pretty sure Discount Auto in my area is Advance Auto. I'll check it out.
