TurboG20 05-14-2002, 02:34 AM This problem has been around for awhile and myself nor anyone can seem to figure it out, so here it goes: After my car warms up and I shut it off, the next time I start it up the check engine lights comes on and the car seems like its misfiring because as I punch it the car surges and doesn't really pull at all. I thought it was EGR related so I disconnected i when I got my header and it still didn't go away. Please help if you have any ideas. Thanks focus 05-14-2002, 04:29 PM More info. Did you hook up a US spec intake to it? Well, the first thing to do is check for any ECU codes. Chris cossieturbo 05-17-2002, 03:04 AM Might want to check the O2 sensor. This is a common part that sets off the light and can make the engine crazy. One of mine blokes had a similar problem. He had forgotten to reconnect something, I think it was the O2 sensor. Where did you get the 10:1 JDM? I'm interested in getting one. Cossie TurboG20 05-17-2002, 04:36 AM Yes I do have the USDM intake manifold because the JDM motor didn't come with the intake manifold or exhaust manifold. I got the motor from SOKEN Trade Co. I don't have their number off hand but they did a good job. | ||
