Ok, IM looking to get some new springs for my car obviously, i wanted to know if the suspension techniques springs for the 91-94 se-r are the same for the 91-93 nx2000. i know they are both b13's, but i dont know if these parts are interchangeable. Jcwhitney has the springs listed for the se-r, but not for the nx. Which leads me to believe that they are interchangeable. ANy help is appreciated. thanks in advance....john.

They are different heights so they won't work. I got mine at www.racesearch.com for $149 I think. Got them within a week.

Are you sure?? I only ask because i noticed the ones on racesearch for the nx2k have the same part # as the ones that jcwhitney is selling for the 91-94 se-r. So, what is that all about?? Racesearch does have different part #'s for the se-r though. Maybe its just a mistake on jcwhitney. Thanks for your help, any more is greatly appreciated.

better check to make sure because companies always screw part #'s up. It's too bad you missed the hypercoil deal although you may be able to get your hands on one of the seven secret sets..........

I researched this when I got my springs. Trust me, they are different!!

:) um, i dont want to sound like im tryin to make anyone look stupid or anything, but all b13 CHASIS are the same. the springs WILL fit but height is up to what you want and what brand you go with. sentra and nx bodies are different, but our chasis are the same.

sentra 91-94 = nx 91-93 same "bone structure" springs, struts and all... i know this through experience, nobody really makes things for the nx, just the sentra, but they fit the same years.

hope this helps bro :D

NX's and sentras did employ the same suspension geometry, but their springs and maybe struts were different becausethe NX's have different weight distribution, being heavier at the front. The sentra springs would work, but not quite properly. Look in your FSM and you will see that the NX spring is stiffer AND .4 inches longer. Lesson#2, listen to LOE LYF, he does know what he is talking about.

The struts are the same but the springs are different.

i agree with you guys, nissan did make the necessary weight changes between the sentra and nx oem springs, i guess because they went a little more sporty with the nx and it weighed less in the rear, but the springs will still fit just depends on what kind of ride you want.

but lets face it there really isnt a huge difference between the 2 suspension wise, ive heard st makes a good spring, i went with eibachs myself, but if theres a certain brand your interested in that only lists for one model only (sentra or nx) it should fit;) as long as the years are the same.

factory springs have to make that difference, because..well...their factory springs, made for a smooth ride. when you upgrade to an aftermarket spring, its ***** be stiffer all around reguardless. but if you can find them for the nx specifically go with that.

Since they use the same struts, yes the springs will fit in the mounts. But they are not the same springs. The sentra springs are quite a bit taller in the front, so if those were to be installed in an NX, the stance would be severely F'd up, as well as probably having alignment problems.
