: DET now has 3" exhaust!

Hey Turbo guys,

Over the weekend I threw in a mandrel-bent 3" exhaust custom made by our own Dave Allen, a fellow SE-R owner. The exhaust kicks ass and has taken DET power to another level. I went from a GReddy 50mm mandrel bent system to these huge MagicPipes.

I posted about it in a thread here, http://www.sr20deforum.com/showthread.php?s=&threadid=18215, but I didn't think he was getting the recognition he deserves (only 15 views in 4 days). Check out his site, as he has a few pics up.

I'd highly recommend considering Dave to make up an exhuast for you if you're Turbo, NOS, or NA.

If I had the money I would order the magicpipes too. After july (smog insp.) I will get this exhaust, it looks like a great setup....tip could be more stylish IMO. (Apex-i tip maybe).

You can pick any tip you want, but most of us would rather go fast in a sleeper fashion.

Yes, the sleeper effect is the way to go. Mine is definately all sleeper gray b13 with gun metal 16inch rims. No decals, stickers, stock bypass valve, and hood scoop for tmic. I'm all about the sleeper ways....but I really like a good lookin exhaust, sorry thats just me.

Hehehe, you wouldn't want it anyways. The B-pipe had a leak but it probably could've been JB-welded. I ended up giving it to a friend in need.

Right now, there are plans to do a B14, but that's further in the future. He almost can't keep up with demand right now.
