Is the z32 300xz TT fuel pump a boost dependent one or not, wil i have to use for example the Vortech FMU or will that z32 fuel pump bge suffice.???? thanks guys

Vortech FMUs are a really good way to blow up your engine. Use a constant pump pressure with a constant rail pressure, and have the JWT ECU tuned for that rail pressure with your injectors. There's no nead to go dorking around with fuel pressure...

The Vortech FMU's aren't bad for the MAP sensor guys like the Honda guys. It's just that we have an easier method with the JWT ECU. Also, our FPR seems to be a bit sturdier. A lot of people I talk to, especially DSM guys have problems with their stock FPR's getting overrun by their Walboro's when the SE-R guys have no problems.

so the 300zx pump is boost dependant right///?? And i was getting the vortech FMU for considerably less than the retail so i figured i woudl pick it up.....gues not now .... and also i am going to try bolting up that t28 to the bb manifold tonigth i know a lot of you guys say its going to bolt right up but there will be some clearance prolems against the block, but the whole thing is the kid i bought the car from his first turbo on it was a t28 which was used on that manifold on there right now. That was the only reason for me having a little doubt in the validity of the guys on the forum well i will find out for myself tonight and if you guys have any more input please post it ok thanks:D

I'm going to go out on a limb and say no, since there's no sense in a boost-dependent fuel pump. The fuel pump is always going to push the same amount of pressure, and it's up to the regulator to set the rail pressure to three bar or four bar or whatever.

I wish you the best of luck on your project, and expect an update soon. ;)

its not boost dependent....its either on or off....the FPR and such control the amount of fuel
