I want to run about a 100 shot of nitrous on my sr20det and probably around 12-13 psi on my stock t28. Im hoping to put down about 380whp. Now when talking to my tuner he said, he could manually retard the timing. However, when not using the nitrous he said my car would be sluggish and unresponsive. I will run 555 injectors and z32 maf and an safc2. However, he mentioned and electronic timing retarder. After some research I found this what do you guys think????

both will work ...I have seen the crane one in action and it works great and is real easy to use....just becareful with that shot on top of boost the only time I have don't that to a stock det motor was when I had a new one and wanted to blow the old one for fun.......and darn it it still didn't blow 18psi and a 120shot and that little bugger held.

mmmmm i never changed my timing. altho after about 15 bottles i blew my engine haha

na its gonna be 13 psi and i might even go with a 200 shot (using a progressive controller) because im gonna have
eagle rods
cp pistons 20 over
head gasket
bearings
bc springs/retainers
fresh block and head!!!!!!!!

few more questions guys. Planning on running another bottle, since I have it. I am currently running the dynotune nitrous heater with bottle pressure switch that activates it. Its currently on the bottle (in one port, and the guage is in another)
Now connecting another bottle is a snap, however, if i want it to also be heated by the switch!!
Can I just by the heater run it to the switch and put the guage and switch where I connect both bottles!! for example both bottles heated than one line from each to connect to the guage and switch than to the front of the car to the solenoids!!!
Any help would be appreciated, also any guys making serious power wanna tell me what kinda clutch your using??
I plan on making 450-480 whp and wondering if my current brand new spec stage 3 would hold considering its rated at 460 tq, or can I just buy the act xtreme 6 puck and use my current spec pressure plate??
REMEMBER WHEN HELPING ME I PLAN ON USING SLICKS AND ITS NOT A DAILY DRIVER CAUSE I KNOW THE ACT XTREME 6 PUCK HAS NO SPRINGS!!!!
