Hope you get some help. I've never put a header on an sr20, but i've put them on an '89 Camaro, and it's a bitch because of clearance. I think the install should be pretty simple, just getting the EGR stuff in there right is the difficult part. Good luck.

Chrissy, well there are alot of tips and how-tos on se-r.net Bring it over to CT meet or just come and we'll explain it to ya...
First take of stock downpipe, then o2 sensor and egr tube, then heat shield, then take off stock primary... scrub off the old gasket.. install new header, don't tighten all the way yet, screw in O2 sensor and new EGR tube (God help you on this one), then goes the downpipe.. tighten every thing in sequence.. and thats it in a nutshell... sorry I dont live in NJ, I woulda help ya... really nice to have a lift and air impact wrench... don't forget O2 socket and some extensions (the long one then the one the bends at an angle..)

:) sorry can't help more

Most importantly ( for me anyway ) was to loosen the EGR valve behind the throttle body. Take out the radiator fans to give you some room...and remove the hood. This will give you some play room and take away the annoyance factor some. Also you want to take the heat shield off ahead of time and soak the exhaust manifold and downpipe bolts with some wd40 or liquid wrench. This will liken the possibility that there won't be any stripped or broken bolts and nuts. Take your time. If you're at the ct meet I'm sure we can help you understand it better.
Ohh tools... socket wrenches 10, 12, 14mm. Some extensions for the pain in the ass areas like the primpary to secondary connection.
