so. i dont know a damn thing about nitrous and im not going to pretend to. however i am "rebuilding" a z32. i bought it without an engine and i am in the process of putting a replacement vg30de non turbo back in for the time being untill i can afford the twin turbo engine. but i want alittle more go out of her. as you all know its a twin throttle engine and would have to run 2 nitrous jets. my question is how big of a jet could i run safely? should i do wet or dry? i want this to be simple. would 2 30 jets dry shot work?

Welcome to my hell...J/K
I have a NX wet kit for my Z32 non turbo.I have bought a second nozzle and need new jets, also.I am also gonna start at 30shot per side
I wanna run a window switch,so I am safer.3500-6500 rpm
Good luck,I am still learning, too so I wont be much help yet.
The z forums are not real keen on nitrous either.
I hope to start installing mine soon.

your not kidding. ask about modding a non turbo z at all and they flip out and yell TT TT! i under stand and plan on it down the road but the Z isnt going to be my primary "fun" car....its just my "G ride" if you want to call it that lol. i want it to look pretty and have alittle balls to it. my next se-r however will be a work of beauty:biggthump
edit: however after seeing the tone of the z boards on the net i decided to ask here. it seems like alot of z guys dont even do their own work....and that bothers me alot. i have read of at least 3 dudes having a shop install a cat back! may god have mercy on them if they try something as routine to us changing/cleaning an air filter! i mean you have to take that confusing nose panle off and all lol.

the engine will be in by the time i go with nitrous. and this engine will be swapped down the road for turbo. im thinking wet would be the best way to go.

Yeah ,I would go direct port if I wa racing at the track alot, but I think a small wet shot would be perfect for occasional street sprays.I don't wanna spend a bunch on the car right now.It is very fun already.
I will swap it also, someday when I don't need to drive it alot:rolleyes:
For now the NX kit will be fun to play with.
As far as working on the Z myself,I will fix anything I can myself, because you will pay for a GOOD Z or Nissan mechanic to work on it.
I just payed to have the 120k service done,(500 parts,500 labor with all belts):eek2: :eek2: I could have done it myself, but maybe next time:rolleyes:
It is fun trying to work on my Z,makes you appreciate how easy a B13 is to work on!!
I actually got he NX wet kit for mt NX2000,but sold the car before I got a chance to use it.So I got a second nozzle off ebay to use it on the Z.
Lmk what you do for your setup
