hint, hint... we have a technical library with lots of cool things to read on ;)

for instance, do I have a highport or lowport under my hood (http://www.sr20forum.com/showthread.php?t=76933)?

Yup. ;)

Seriously though, it's just the intake manifold.

Highport- The throttle body is below the runners and injectors. The PORTS that go into the head are up HIGH. Air flows upward into the head.

Lowport- The throttle body is above the runners and injectors. The PORTS that go into the head are down LOW. Air flows downward into the head.

The highport also has a higher duration cam at 248 over the lowport's 232 and has no AIV an added emission device. Also most highports ecu's have a higher rev limiter and are supposed to flow a little better at higher rpms. Also for turbo swaps, most of the cars that have highport engines plug right into the SR20DETs. Just use US sensors and a ECU managemant or use JDM sensors and the SR20DET ecu. Thats all I can think of off the top of my head.
