S13 owners!

I need to know if these 300ZX rear knuckles are the same as the rears found on the S13. These knuckles are aluminum.

These will not work on an S14 simply because the shock mount is different.

another major difference is that the Z32 balljoint is beefier than S13. I have those knuckles too, complete with calipers, ebrake, drum, rotors...

they never made it onto the sil80. I was thinking about lopping off the shock mount and having a stud pressed in its place so that S13 rear shocks will mount. To address the balljoint issue, I was planning on welding it up and machine it out to proper S13 spec.

As you can see, all that's in the pic is the knuckle. The e-brake, 2 piston caliper and 11.6" rotor are mounted on my car and working great :) I just had to transfer everything over to the heavy cast iron piece :(

I haven't had a chance to address the fact that the 300zx brake cables are too short, but I know how I'm going to correct it. Just need to crawl under the car and do it.

As for the ball joint, I think it's the same. The aluminum knuckle uses a "cone" that slips onto the ball joint. So, if you don't have the cone, then you couldn't use it. I don't have a pic of the cones...but I should take some.

alex u are aware they make kits for the e brake cable to work right? projectsilvia.com has one i dont know if they are selling it yet or not.

Oh really? I just checked their site and they don't seem to be ready with the new parts. This will take care of my last concern.
