Turbos don't make power they use the Exhaust gas energy to compress ambient air into the combustion chamber.
Given the proper fuel this extra influx of air helps creat a more powerful combustion which in turn drives the reciprocating assembly at a faster pace, which translates into power. Just slapping on a turbo doesn't create power. A turbo can only function as well as the system it's apart of. Fuel and spark considerations are important for a turbo motor to achieve its power potential. In some cases, a turbo will cause your motor to lose power in certain parts of the rev range. You should ask how much boost you can expect this turbo to put out, and where in the power band it will be most affective. I think your looking at anywere near 16-18 pounds no problems, it should kick in around 3000 RPMs Just IMHO
