: courtesy nissan
Fonque 05-16-2002, 11:08 AM does anyone have any idea what would make courtesy nissan not ship an order and give the run around when you call and try to find out whats wrong with the order? ive ordered twice before with no problems, but time they keep telling me your parts will be shipped this day but the money never comes out of my account so no parts are shipped they've done that 3 times now on this order, and my credit card isnt bad *** like i said i ordered twice before.
NismoNx2000 05-16-2002, 11:20 AM I myself just ordred some plugs and plug wires from courtesy and that was last week, they said i would have it by tuesday or wednesday of this week, but now its thursday and no parts yet. Im hoping to get them by next week at the latest.
Thrillseeker197 05-16-2002, 11:38 AM I just bought tune up parts & everything came perfectly on time.

Fonque 05-16-2002, 11:39 AM turns out 1 part in my order is on national back order o.O didnt think that would happen for nx parts.
Da91NX 05-16-2002, 11:48 AM Because the NX and sentra's share all of the same parts, mechanically that is, that is possible
TurboJesus 05-16-2002, 06:30 PM Does anyone have brain Sn from Courtesy??Because he send me 4 extra rod bearings that i didnt need.
playatx99 05-17-2002, 01:42 AM i think you mean brian right? well his sn is brian, lol. pretty easy to remember:D
tommy 05-17-2002, 11:49 AM Try ordering an NX rear parcel shelf sometime. You will then know the true meaning of national backorder. :(
Cjburn 05-17-2002, 02:03 PM Check junkyards. I picked up my parcel shelf for $20. Now the two little clip thingees that hold it in place on the car are broke. I thought a couple people were parting out NX's, if you are I need the handles for the seat releases (mine's just bare metal) and the clips that hold the parcel shelf onto the back of the car (not the ones on the hatch, but on the plastic shelves behind the rear seats). Thanks
Indyv8a 05-17-2002, 02:08 PM Last time I broke mine, I ordered several extra. If you want, I could try to figure out where I put them....And remember, if you don't have them, don't hang the parcel shelf from the strings. I did that once and blew out my back window. To make it worse my 6 month old son was in his car seat under the falling glass. To make it even worse than that, that was 5 years ago and the glass cost $700 then.
Can anyone direct me to a likely place to find body parts. I got tagged in a parking lot a while back, and I need a driver's side fender, a front bumper cover, and a driver's side headlight. Ideas? (The local wrecking yard laughed at me.)
Fonque 05-17-2002, 02:57 PM How did you manage to blow out the back window?? just *** the clips are broke and strings attached?
Indyv8a 05-17-2002, 03:03 PM The parcel shelf tilted at an odd angle, when I went to close the hatch, the corner hit the glass in just the right place....
Next thing you know, glass everywhere.
P.S. I found the clips...
Fonque 05-17-2002, 05:01 PM damn no good, lucky me my shelf has broke clips and is missing a string :p so no broke glass for me. You make me scared to even bother fixing my hatch, i need to replace the hatch lifts though
Kelway 05-17-2002, 05:18 PM My parcel shelf is missing, too. Makes me wonder what in the heck people do with these things. How can you lose one? And if somebody steals it, then his must be gone, too! There's probably some guy in Montana with a barn full of 'em, mounted to the walls.

socalnx 05-18-2002, 03:53 PM Indyv8a, where'd you find the clips at ?
Those broken clips, along with failed hatch lift pnuematics seem quite notorious.
Indyv8a 05-18-2002, 05:34 PM I ordered them from my dealer. Right after I had the window replaced. (Closing the barn door after the horse got out....)
Cjburn 05-20-2002, 12:16 PM Indyv8a: Do you remember how much they were. Maybe you should just keep yours since they do break. I really don't like going to dealers to find prices. They're always expecting you to buy the stuff, and I usually don't want to pay their prices. I have a mechanic friend of mine get the cost price from a Nissan dealership in the company he works for chain of dealer (Wilde automotive for all you WI folks).
Tunez 05-20-2002, 12:25 PM Like I said in another post, I have a parts NX that I bought. It does have the parcel shelf but plastic peices on it are broke. I used the holders that attach the shelf to the car, the clips I guess.
The shelf itself is in EXCELLENT condition aside from the little plastic arms. Make me an offer on it, reasonable that is. :)
Indyv8a 05-20-2002, 12:52 PM But I don't think I spent more than a couple of bucks each. I got four at the time, I still have 3 left.
Also, those arms/hinge pins are a bitch to replace, but you can replace them with a bolt of appropriate size. I did on the right side of my shelf.
