I need to know which wire to tap the purple wire on the air/fuel meter(autometer). Iknow its the signal wire...but what color is the wire I need to tap on the 02 signal wire:black, white or the brownish one?

c-mon somebody has to know this.

It is the middle wire, or WHITE wire. Hook it up and run with it! :D

Well I did it and it don't work....I hooked it up and it went around once and it stopped nothing works now. The last light at the rich end doesn't come on. What happened?

The AF gauge acts like a tach when you rev on it. It takes a sec or two to start reading correctly as well. When you are running at normal driving, it SHOULD stay within the yellow bands. Start her up and let it idle for about 2 minutes, then get in there and rev on her and see what the gauge does, it should go all the way to rich then back to lean then even out and fall back to nothing. :D

Hey thanks for the help...I guess I didn't run the car long enough till it got hot. I took it to work a couple hrs after installing it and it works fine. the lights go to about 2 green bars (rich) under wot. Thanks again...se-r.
