yay! i just got back from LA and got me a MOTIVATIONAL RTB....but thats not my problem.

i call $tillen to get me a FTB...and the sales guy says "NO, we dont make a FTB for the NX2000,"
how bout the one for the sentra se-r?
"NO...it doesnt fit"
wont a FTB for a b13 chassis fit another? arent all b13 chassis the same?

ok...so i thought a FTB from the same year SE-R would fit, but this guy tells me otherwise. im confused. is it specific to the ABS? are mods (bar bending) needed (higher ABS pump on right side)? i think focus had issues with this at one point. im pretty sure they will fit. is this correct?

I'm pretty sure that a B13 Sentra STB will fit a an NX2000. You know how some of these guys that work in parts places are; "if it isn't listed, it must not fit, and I'm not gonna double check, '*** it's not listed". People drive me nuts. He probably had never seen an NX2000:p .

I always wondered about those cheap STB's like the one you're your talking about. It seems simple enough, but why are some $120 when these guys have one for $25? I am interested ina ny thought the rest of you guys have, since I'm getting a front STB very soon (just installed my Random Thoughts rear STB).

Ask Thomas Fox (subculture) I have personaly seen a stillen front STB on his NX.

Most STBs I have delt with (old job) for the SE-R fits the NX with no problem. Try to find the low ones so you don't have to worry about the hood hitting. I think mine is from Top Speed. Good luck.

A B13 front strut bar will fit no problem, personally I have a Stillen Strut Bar from a B14 and it fit no problem. Hopes this helps you out.

not to slam the quality work of Stillen...but perhaps we pay a little more for the name brand. on the other hand, quality of steel/aluminum may be different between products. subject to stress cracks etc...

i suppose if you dont drive TOO hard...a cheap one should do the job fine. i'll keep you guys posted on the condition of my coming $25 bar.

To be quite honest the Stillen Strut Bar is a thing of beauty, the quality is tremendous and it just looks that damn GOOD. Personally I found the stillen bar in the SE-R classified for $75 plus the guy was local which was even better.

Personally I would pay for a brand new stillen bar the price is just ridicuous but try to find one on the forum I remeber seeing two stillen bars for sale in the 4 sale section just do a search if need be.

I know this is changing the subject, but this is about the rear STB I got from you. I just mounted it on the outside of my carpet and everything, because I thought it would look better than cutting the carpet and chipping off the sound deadening stuff. That should work fine right?

BTW - The bar looks good. I'm glad the one you sent me is not painted black. I have a pic if you want it.

YES! The "Classic" front STB will fit in an NX!
I have the $tillen front STB from a same year SE-R in my NX.
Whoever said they won't fit, has their head up their rear!
