I have several sets of used brake rotors in the garage, from having swapped new rotors onto a couple different cars recently. They're not worth trying to sell, if they'd been usable they'd still be on the cars... anyway, I'm curious about disposal. I hate to throw them out and I feel like there should be somewhere to recycle them - does anyone know if their local curbside recycling takes them, or if I'll need to find a metal yard?

Dumb question but I'm tired of looking at them and I hate to just toss them.

if you contact a metal salvage company you might be able to schedule a pick-up. try to find a free-lancer, someone who collects metals to sell them to scrapper, i have 1 pick up my junk all time.
