I have a t28 and when you bolt it to the gti-r manifold the intake side housing hole that goes to the intercooler faces the block so i cant run intercoolre piping..>> I noticed 4 screws on the exhaust side of the turbo but those things are frozen in there what can be done i am able to spin it about 45 degress so that the intercooler hole is facing in an upward direction versus facing the block.. I was told that i have to heat up right by the screws and then loosen them a bit then spin the exhaust size which inturn spins he intake side is this true??? and if so where should i go to get it done i am in NY

ok there is a c-clip on the back of the compressor side it is about 3-or 3-1/2 inches my was frozen i heated the a/r. housing with map gas *** aluminium expanes fast and * need a very big set of snap ring pliers between this and the 4 screws on the exhaust side * it should line up:D

OS i have to squeeze the c-clip as well as loosen the 4 bolts on the exhast side in order to rotate the housing or can i just loosent he four bolts and spin it that way?

Hey so any machine shop should be able to heat it up and loosen it for me right??? Or do i have to go to a specialzed one.? SOrry to be such a pain but your really helping me

i used a map gas tourch that * can buy at sears or the auto store map gas burn hotter than propane

So you did that your self. I dont want to do it myself andfuck it up but when you heated it upthe bolts loosen right then you were able to rotate the housing?TIAdvance
