i just picked this up a while ago, its originally from gregV. only got to use it for a few hundred miles. so its as good as new, no scratches or anything..... looking for 80 shipped.

That's a gorgeous valve cover, but is it really a DET one? Every one I've seen has either been BlueBird style (red with a black center), or Avenir style (unpainted).

I dont think anyone will really comment on it being not a real BB valve cover. It looks WAY better then anyother red Valve cover I have ever seen!

Here are the current facts.

On 1/27/07, I sent a PM to the seller (coryb13ser) expressing my interest in the "like new det valve cover." He claimed that another potential buyer on the forum had not sent payment. He offered to sell the item to me.

well, i guess the other guy who wanted still hasent responded, im going to go ahaid and say its all yours.

The seller (Cory Grimsrud) accepted and received $100.00 to his PayPal account (mazdaspeedap@hotmail.com) on 1/28/07 (payment ID #10V51888HB199260F) for the det valve cover. Corey Grimsrud confirmed receipt of the payment and a tracking number was promised, but was never sent.


I knew something or someone was afoul when the seller "bumped" the item up for sale today more than 24hrs after he already received payment for it.

He has not responded to private messages and email to both his hotmail accounts:

In fact, the seller has shut down his mazdaspeedap@hotmail.com address.

I do not want any other forum members to be victimized by this crook. I am probably never going to see either the det valve cover or my $100 again.

However, I will try to the best of my ability to make this a**hole earn every penny of the $100 he stole from me.

Suggestions for resolution of this problem are welcome.
