well yea im going with after market, i dont know if i'd have the money for digital, but i already have A-pillar tri pod mounts, and a spot for it, but i just needed to know if i can run it from the stock wiring and what-not, so is that a possibility to run it off same wiring as stock temp gauge?

it all depends on what gauge you are getting, look up in the fsm at what the stock sensor reads ex. 80-250degress. idk off the top of my head. but if your figure it out and buy the same gauge with the same readings you can hook it up th the stock sensor. If its different you will to find a place to put the aftermarket sensor.

factory service manual, its will atleast tell you what the stock temp gauge reads. usually all the hardware comes with it with a autometer. All i did was go to a local plumping store pick up some fittings for a couple of dollars and theres goes my adapter for the sensor.

Please get the idea of using the stock wiring and sender to feed an aftermarket gauge. It won't work, and it's ghetto. A good gauge and sender will cost you less than $50. Read the link I sent you, and you'll see the right way to do it.
