So I got my header and those DAMN catalytic bolts will not come off!!!!! arrrrgghh!!!
So I went ahead and hacksawed the damn thing off right before the resonator. Now heres the deal. I need to get a 15 inch extension from the header to the resonator.
1)-Can I just fabricate one or does a muffler shop have to do it?
2)-If I can fabricate one how do I make the ends bow out and fit the flanges?
ALL HELP IS HIGHLY APPRECIATED.
I will be attacking this project tomorrow morning.
Use super glue and rubber bands http://laf.cioe.com/~benbobbo/NonCGI/biggrin.gif that should work. http://laf.cioe.com/~benbobbo/NonCGI/wink.gif

I did the same thing on my '93, as 149,000 miles are brutal on the cat bolts. I had to have mine towed to my exhaust shop, and the guy who owns it fabricated the piping and welded it.
Charged me $26.00, a bargain in my book.

i would think the best thing to do is let a professional at a muffler shop do the work. that is unless you own an arc welder.
