Does anyone know how to get the driver's side door lock cylinder out of the car? It hasn't worked for while now and I want to see if I can fix it. The problem is that the key won't go in the lock all the way and the lock feels loose. I'm sick of having to climb in the passenger side of my car.

I was able to unscrew the handle assembly, but the whole thing is still held in by the metal rods that actuate everything.

I believe there is just one metal rod that connects to the lock cylinder. It is a yellow plastic clip that you have to twist/push off the metal rod. You then pull the rod out of a hole in the cylinder. You should then be able to take the handle/cylinder out of the door.

Its kind of a bitch to get to the clip though.
