Im looking to get some new racing belts for my classic, and I was wondering what you guys run. I do numerous auto-xing and road racing, so i want something good. I dont have a cage, (YET!!) but i will have one next year. so, i guess something that I can buy now, and attach to the cage would be good.

thanks!

5pt. Sabelt camlock from Racer Wholesale. I think I saw a recent sale price of $109. Camlocks ownz joo.

Don't use until you have rollover protection.

Be very careful where you mount race belts on a factory seat on ANY CAR!!! In a smashup, you could end up with a compressed spine/crippled. I also think you should wait for the cage and mount it to that. If you mount the rear attachment to low on factory seats, the force & energy in an impact is pushing down on your shoulders.

Nasty!!!

I spent $140 for a custom support bracket so I could install my Schroth belt onto my factory seat.

I'll echo what others have said. Using a harness without a bar is a death trap.

Simpson 5-point attched to 6-point cage. Don't get one without a cage. Do remember that you have to replace them after they are expired.
