thats just a universal pic they have on their site. was just crusing around the net and i find these. at first they say universal, then they say only to be used with k-sport coil overs. i wont buy k-sports ever again. but a pillow ball is a pillow ball upper mount. any reason these wouldnt work with other shocks?

A pillow ball is not a pillow ball. Do you need to be slapped? (you already got bit once by your own admission) Several things make it good or bad. It's not a terribly complicated part but sometimes the simplist things are the hardest. For instance Ground Control had to redesign its Camber Plates so that they would work with some of the newer Koni Setups.

i would like to say no? but being slapped is normally in the near future for me.........so please e-slap me.

thanks for the info thoe. i wlays just assumed a pillow ball was not much more than a well machined ball inside of a tight fitting enclosure. this let the suspension pivot as it needed to allowing everything to work smoother. if that is correct and you were talking about how some mounts have more adjustability i deffinatly know that. the GC mounts have caster and all that jazz built into them.

oh! damn, they wont work with normall suspension. just rememberd the k-sports had another plate under the mount. never mind. those other plates are there as well. hmmmm, i may have just opend a can of worms.......im gona feel like an ass when some posts "hey i bought these! they are crap!" damn. what the hell was i thinking?

It's a little irresponsible of K-Sport to suggest that these fit a variety of setups.

"FOR VEHICLES WITH PILLOWBALL MOUNT APPLICATIONS ONLY*****"

K-Sport does not know the shaft size of other peoples coilovers and unless these are designed to fit the oem size shaft the things will be too loose more then likely.

Maybe the next person who is buying a set of Koni's from me would want a set. They can have them mailed to me (or pay me and I just buy them). I would test fit them on the setup to make sure the unit bolts to the shaft properly. It would be nice if these things actually worked with the Koni's. Suspension is expensive enough already.

The screws they use are really cheap and should be replaced though. I broke a couple of them on my D2's trying to keep them from moving on me. They are really too soft of metal imo.
