I know we are dealing with inline 4's but I just realized i've never seen a v6 turbo manifold. Does anyone have any pictures of how something like this works. I can't quite wrap my brain around it. Thanks

Buick Grand National is a single turbo V-6.

Imagine the inline 4 manifold minus 1 port. It is a 3 cylinder manifold, one for each side of the motor equaling 6 cylinders.

do they have 2 banks of 3 ports? if so what kind of designs do they have for example I4's have 4 to 1 and 4 to 2 to 1? Also if 2 banks of 3 ports where does the turbo connect?

I think that GNs just use log-shaped cast manifolds with a length of exhaust tubing from the outlets of each to where the turbine is. The stock manifolds aren't tuned very well at all; they just flow gas to the turbine as inexpensively as possible.
