: Attention Spring Deal Participants
chriscar 05-20-2002, 01:45 PM Isidro asked me to pass along the following news;
Goodridge SS Brake lines for B13 SE-R’s and NX2000 $84.99
This price is good ONLY for people who are in on the spring deal.
He also has ES mounts and bushings in stock.
Chris
RED 91 SE-R 05-20-2002, 04:17 PM Chris,
So what will these do for us? And how easy is the install?
TIA
Alex
FastNX 05-20-2002, 07:26 PM they will reduce the sloopy feel of our brakes making them feel tighter. Quite easy to install, you will need to bleed the brakes after you install them. this is like half price so im jumpin in!!!
VVLtrain 05-20-2002, 07:44 PM So how long is this deal good for? I just dropped for springs.
So I don't have $$$ to drop on lines right now! But the price is nice though :)

sr20deMike 05-21-2002, 11:34 AM Nice, just ordered my lines. That is the best price I have seen on them. Thanks again Chris.
Mike

Just to clarify things, I don't work with or for Isidro. He owns a shop in Miami, but doesn' post on the Forum. Give him a call if you need something other than what I've specifically listed here.
Cheers,
Chris
9d1ser 05-21-2002, 04:44 PM chris,
what ever happen to brother hood?
ONLY member that are in on the spring deal?
If it counts *I was going to get on the spring deal* untill my starter went out, I had to drive to work the next day, and since the car is my only ride, I had to do an emergency starter job.
So I forked out the money for a new starter, and had to pull out of the spring deal.
If you decide on opening the Deal for Brake Lines to everyone,
Let Me Know :D

Black93 05-21-2002, 05:17 PM when will the madness end...
but mom, he made me buy those braided lines:p
mpg9999 05-21-2002, 05:56 PM so how long will this price be good?
The Sandman 05-21-2002, 08:38 PM Are these for the front and rear brakes or only the front?
chriscar 05-21-2002, 09:20 PM Sorry for the lack of detail fellas, it's just that I was on the phone with Isidro asking about brake lines and he made the offer for a group deal on the spot! :)
OK, a little more organized this time.
This is for a complete set (2 front, 2 rear) of Goodridge Stainless Steel brake lines, for 91-94 SE-R and NX2000.
The price is only good for participents in the spring deal, that's why it's posted here, and not in the Group Deal section.
The deal is open up to the point that the springs are ready to ship.
For those of you who were early buyers of the springs at $269, you can use the $30 difference as credit towards the brake lines.
FYI, the Goodridge lines are awesome quality, and this is the lowest price I've ever seen them for. I just took a cruise through the SE-R archives, and people were paying $125 for them back in 1997.
I don't have details on shipping, but Isidro can probably toss them in with your order.
There, I hope I covered everything.
Cheers,
Chris
Hey Chris, are these prices that you posted at the beginning of our spring quest still good?
KYB AGX shocks for B13 chassis $369 including shipping
Koni Bumpstops approx. $15 each (4 required)
Thank.

As far as I know they are, best to check with Isidro.

You're right, good catch. I'll edit that post.
Thanks

chriscar 05-22-2002, 11:41 PM Guys, I think I need to clarify things a little here. First of all, I'm really happy that so many of you have participated in the spring deal and now the brake line deal. Secondly, thanks to those of you who answer questions that others have asked, that makes thing easier for me.
For some reason, some of you think that I work with Isidro, or have specific knowledge of his inventory. Neither of those things are true, Isidro owns a shop down in Miami, I work for a large financial company in NYC. I try and post whatever I know regarding these deals. I do realize that I was a little vague on some of the details of the brake lines, but I explained why in a previous post.
Please, if you have a question about something that hasn't been covered, don't get annoyed if I answer you by saying 'Call Isidro'.
When you call him, ask if you can post his answer on the board. This will make things easier on all of us.
For any of you who haven't had the opportunity to talk to him, he's one of the nicest people you'll ever deal with. He has an 800 number for a reason, use it.
I'm afraid it may sound like I'm pissed, or ranting, that's not the case, and I'm kind of dealing with a grey area here, but the reality of it is, I don't have all the answers, and I don't have the time to call him with everyone's individuals questions.
I hope I don't regret posting this message in the morning. :)
Chris

Chris don’t sweat it. I just wanted to thank you for doing the legwork on the spring deal. I was VERY tempted but was unable to participate. I guess some of us may get a little too excited when someone brings a great deal to us on things we all wish we could have.
Anywho, Just sounded like you needed a little cheer! Thanks for bringing this to us. :D
But.............If anyone on the spring deal who doesn’t need the brake lines and still would like to get a set and work a favor for me...Well you get the picture.
:D
Kelway 06-20-2002, 07:50 PM Dude, I only now just found this. I never check the Classic forum. That's an awesome deal on the SS lines. You guys are killing me... I'm gonna get behind on my mortgage because of this stuff:D .
So here's my break-down:
$239 - Springs
$369 - AGX's
$85 - Goodridge lines
$60 - Bumpstops
---------------
-$269 paid
$484 to go (now taking donations:p)
Anything else I need to get to get to install at the same time?
