I've got a set of Tokico Blues on my Classic. Do any of you know of a spraypaint maker and color that matches it well? I would like to paint my sway bars to match. I have seen some close but off a few shades.
Surely I'm not the only one whos thought of this, am I?
TIA,

It might not be cheap, but you can have a small amount, probably no smaller than a quart, mixed up that matches your paint and if you don't own a gun or an airbrush, you can buy one of those DIY paint spray cans that you can dump any color of paint into and it has a builit in diaphragm pump that you use to pressurize the paint and use it to spray any parts you want to match. If you go this route, I would use an aerosol clearcoat to finish it or just get your paint mixed in enamel. Depending on how much you drive your car, maybe even get some clear rockguard in aerosol cans to put over it to keep it from chipping as easily. I painted the end caps of my stereo amplifier to match my car, but that doesn't quite see the abuse as your struts and sway bars do. At any rate, make sure to scuff up the paint on your struts and sway bars really go so that the paint will have a good bite. Use like 320 grit sand paper or just a scotchbrite pad ought to work. I would think Dupont Duplicolor spraypaint ought to come close to your OEM color and any dealership ought to have something but I'm sure they'd charge you nicely for it. Hope some of this helps.
Thanks for the tips Toolapcfan.
Yeah I thought about the custom route myself, but you're right big dollars. I was hoping to find an off the shelf sorta thing. I have a few more places I need to check, but I may just wind up shooting the sway bars red to match the car. (The struts are blue from Tokico already) I just painted my rims, and they came out well, so I guess Iim just on a painting kick. Either that or maybe I'm just high from the fumes!! LOL...J/K ;) :D
