As far as I can remember I think the NX was the only front wheel drive car ever sold with T-tops. Can anyone think of any others?

Del Sol's weren't t-tops. They were Targa tops.

I was going to say that but it's a Pulsar "NX" so I figured he knew about that one!

T-tops are like the letter "T", hence the bar in the middle. Targa has no bar in the middle.

I had a '87 Supra Turbo which was a Targa top. Targa's are more fun when they are out but, otherwise T-tops are a lot easier to live with, plus the chassis doesn't flex as much as Targa's. That targa top in the Supra was a B**CH to take on & off.

I thought of one. The Dodge Daytona had t-tops as an option in the late eighties. I don't think many of them were made that way. They actually removed the window frames and built them into the door sills.

Would you count a Subaru Brat as a car?

I had an 87. It was fun as hell.

Well, wasn't that a 4WD and wasnt the top actually two sunroofs facing opposite directions?

It *was* 4wd, but when not engaged, FWD.

And they were true T-tops. Removeable and from the t-bar to the end of the roof. (i.e. not a sunroof-y thing)

I wanted one of those Brats sooo bad when I was younger. I even built a Brat model car. Still have it. Hehehe! Thought the rear facing seats in the bed with the bicycle grips were killer too!
