: Tsuru Headlights, clear or black housings>??
law abidn 02-07-2007, 08:16 PM About to upgrade my black B13 with some Tsuru headlights. I know the Ebay kits are knockoffs, but I see they have black housings avail too!!
Just wondered if anyone knew someone that got the black housings and were satisfied with them. I'd prefer the black, but if the light output sucks, then I'll stick to clear

nismo94tuner 02-07-2007, 08:19 PM Dick, on this forum sells those headlights. They are great for the price. A couple of the guys on here have the smoked headlights and I have seen nothing but positive reviews about them.
I never had anything good to say about depo products. just my opinion. but I do work for a bodyshop that do over 1 mill a month

thanks for everyones opinion. I don't mind about quality so much, besides.... it is a sentra! Plus I only work for a company that only 'do' 500 thou a year ;)
Loki0013 02-08-2007, 12:45 AM I got the smoked ones and I love them, the look is just down right mean imho. But then again each to his own, in the end it is all about how much you like the look.
I bought the black housing ones from Dick. I have not yet installed them, I'm going to wait until the spring. But from the look of them, they look pretty good to me. Of course fitment and light pattern/output is still up in the air until they are installed. If I was buying the regular (clear) tsuru's I'd probably get the Hella ones but after seeing the black housing lights I didn't want any others.
blusteelsr20 02-08-2007, 01:06 AM The black housings kick a**, definitely give a Darth Vader look especially with a black Classic. Probably would have went with Hella for the clear lenses but the smoked Depos had me from day one. Lighting is still good and the pattern is good too.
99sel-r 02-08-2007, 01:09 AM i say go oem and buy them off of me

yeah, after finding some pics of the dark ones installed on cars, I think they would look mean as fuck on my black B13
nismo94tuner 02-08-2007, 06:59 AM ^Definately. I am trying to see if I could maybe get just the smoked headlights and corners for my car cause I messed up the driver side headlight/corner and need new lights. Gotta have a quick talk with the seller. :)
XxToKeSxX 02-08-2007, 07:03 AM does anyone have pics of the black housings on?
KINGVIPER12 02-08-2007, 08:24 AM i got a black classic with the clear ones and i just like the fact that no other sentra in my hood has them. =]
Loki0013 02-08-2007, 12:56 PM I will take a pic of my car later tonight and get it put up on this thread so y'all can see the smoked ones.

classicaddict 02-08-2007, 09:17 PM could anyone post up a pic of their black tsurus with their low beam shining on a garage door or flat wall? curious about the beam pattern.
Loki0013 02-08-2007, 09:24 PM Maybe tomorrow night if no one else does by then.

Have you decided what to do with the center badge?
I was thinking of cutting the grill to accept the nissan badge from the stock grill, but I'm not sure if I want to go that route or find a sunny badge and mod it to fit.

just cut the tabs off your b13 nissan badge and glue it on. or buy a brand new OEM badge for a 99 sentra (se-l type grill badge)
