Has anyone used a different bulb other than the 194/168 for the inside turn signal/DRLs.

I have Polarg B1 Hybrid M-5 bulbs but are worried that may melt the lens and/or housing if used in this socket as DRLs. I have already tried single LEDs and Quad LEDs and none have the results I would be happy with. I want a strong amber light.

Any help would be appreciated.
