: Adjustable sways?

Are adjustable swaybars really necessary? I'm looking at Whiteline or Progress, which are adjustable, and Suspension Techniques, which are not. The Whitelines/Progress would be a little over $400 for front and rear, the ST about $275.

At this point I am not yet running coilovers. I'm using KYB adjustables and KGMM S21 springs, which are 4.6 kg/mm front and 3.8 rear. The ride is nice around town but the car corners well; I'm looking to exorcise a bit more body roll if possible. I also have every adjustable suspension link known to man, except for LCAs. I've got RUCAs, toe rods, traction rods, and T/C rods in the front.

Anyway, I'm looking for opinions. I'd like to reduce roll, as mentioned, but retain a nice ride on the (very potholed and bumpy) street. I don't know much about sways beyond my research, and the only car I've ridden in with aftermarket sways was a B13. Please keep replies to your own experience, and not what you've heard. I guess I'm trying to see whether it's worth the extra money for adjustability.

FYI - coilovers are NOT an option at this point. I've got the money for sways but won't have cash for coils for quite a while.

Good info, but that's before shipping of course. Probably more like $340-$350 once the shipping is included.

Speaking for myself, I'm not willing to purchase from JGY.

In any case, for anyone who cares, I picked up Suspension Techniques swaybars from Summit ($260 shipped for front and rear) and we'll see how that goes. The front is already installed but I'm waiting for all my pullies and some other things to come back from being powdercoated so I can get the car running again.

Install impressions were good. New bushings, endlinks, and D-brackets; the fitment is excellent. It's just good they go under the car, I wouldn't want anything that color green to be where someone could see it

Pictures when you get a chance. RE: the color: people can still see the rear one from behind.

I have the Whitelines and have been happy with them so far, despite the lack of installation instructions and not having much experience driving the car in a "spirited" fashion yet. I have both front and rear set to full stiff (uh huh huh huh) until I get a chance to play with them.

Yeah, I'll snap some pics before I get the car down off the ramps. It won't move 'till I get back the parts mentioned above... And yeah, I figured you could see the rear. I'll just have to drive enough to get it dirty :D

Largus is also among the most expensive.

Largus also won't clear my big oil pan from what I've read.

I've got the progress bars on the 240 that I just bought. There set to full stiff currently, I need to take them to the middle setting and see how that affects the ride.

Also, there are not alot of pictures showing these, so I'll take some pictures one of these nights and post them up :)

I sure I don't have issues with clearance on the greddy-like oil pan

As promised, pics:

Front bar (yes, the logo is upside down):

Endlink (ST should have sourced bolts about 1/2" longer for these, getting the nuts on was a big PITA) and D-bracket:

Rear:

Install on the rear was super easy, took me less than an hour this morning. Car now makes no funny noises and body roll is much reduced. Mission accomplished!
