Rodger at Courtesy just told me that the one on the BOTTOM of the tranny is for the neutral switch. The one on the SIDE of the tranny case near the drivers side tire, it the REVERSE switch. I am not sure who to believe. What I can say it that the part he sent me did not fit the harness and it was for the reverse lights. I can also say that what I took out of the tranny was located on the UNDERSIDE of it. However, when I go throw my car in reverse, the back-up lights are coming on. So that tells me that he might be right. That the connector I have removed is in fact the neutral safety switch.
Can someone confirm?
Thanks,
