Well guys... I am back in Chicago... the turbo car made it all the way here from Phoenix on lean status... Will work on the car this weekend with some folks who were generous enough to pay a visit and get it running right... The car was supposed to be in HIN in Chicago this summer but I have a prior committment in California I must attend to... so the car will no longer be at the show... But I am down for hanging out with you folks from around here... Give me a holler...

You mentioned you were from the Bartlet area, right? One of these days, we should hang out since I go to school in Devry, Addison. My B14 SE-R is still in pieces, but should be on the road in about a week or two-then after everything seems ok, we'll be taking a roadtrip up to Indiana for the rest of the turbo install. I'll keep you posted.

Hahaha, that's cool! I can't wait to get my car together so we can slap the turbo on. It should be within the month if things go right.

Oh, and do you think that there will be time to do a clutch job too? I don't think that the turbo will take too long. I think the longest part of the install will be tapping the block. Let me know what you think.
I think we will leave that as a lower priority. Since we're dealing in uncharted waters with this FMAX install let's handle one thing at a time.

There was a rumor I heard that there is someone in the Chicago area that also has an Fmax kit bolted onto his B13. Can anyone confirm this? He used to hang around Chinatown.

When is this happening? Is this the May 31st weekend at Ben's?
No, it's going to be a while. This weekend I'm busy, next weekend is a wedding, next weekend MAY work, and the weekend after that I have a wedding.
Walrus FTW!!!

When exacly U guys are going to be doing the installs ? I might come up...need tools ? I have a shit load of em, compression, fuel, ignition testers...I got it all...might bring my scan tool too if needed. I'm up for a geek out...can drive up to 300 miles one way...but I need a place to sleep in...my car is fine as long as I dont get rapped in the ass by some hick while sleeping in the back seat of my car. Is it just me or the dates on the forum are all fucked up ? Ben U didn't even have your SE-R yet in May...yet the dates say May 24th and shit....weird.
