I've finaly decided to upgrade from the T3 that I've been running on my DET. I've chosen the T3/T04E from Louis Anaya. I've got the 300zxTT pistons..and I was wondering which exhaust A/R to go with. I like my .63 housing on my T3 as it spools around 3000rpm.. But I realize that I'm limited with this. With my compression ratio(9.0:1) what is the difference in spoolup and power potential between the .63 and the .82 housings? I realize that several other factors affect spoolup..but I just want a ballpark idea. I have 93 BB DET cams and will have a 3" exhaust. Also upgrading to a Trust FMIC with 3" plumbing. 50 lb injectors and Cobra MAF will top it off. This is in my 2001 sentra also... car weighs like 2650lbs I think. Any imput as far as HP numbers or advice would be great. Thanks

.63 a/r: spools at about 3500rpm and is topped out at about 350 hp.
.82 a/r: spools at about 4500rpm and is topped out at about 425 hp.

Exactly my point, man! If someone needs to know something that has been asked before, they don't get an answer. I've just tired of the shady attitude people have around here. They want to think they're knowledgeable and helpful people but the fact is that if they're not going to share their knowledge then they aren't helpful and they'd might as well know nothing.

The shady attitude? Why don't you do what I did? I searched the archives. I sat back and listened. How about doing some research yourself before you bitch about people not spoonfeeding you the knowledge.

I've been sitting back and listening for damn near 9 months now. What's the point of a forum if people aren't going to answer questions when you ask? Your attitude only reinforces what I've already said. There are but a handfull of people here that are worth two shits and you can have everyone else. I guess I just have a different approach to it. If someone asks a question that I can help them with then I'm going to do so, I'm not going to make smartass remarks because they're a newbie, I'm not going to ignore their question because it has been asked and answered ten thousand times. I'm not going to suggest that if someone has a question that they should have to do any more reserach than they should have to in order to get their answer. As far as the archives go, I've tried using them and they've rarely been worth it. Beside that, this isn't about me. I wasn't bitching about about not being spoonfed in the first place. I'm not even the one asking the question here. Shady attitude is right. Why else do we have threads that have been viewed hundreds of times and have little or no responses? Even if I didn't know the answer I'd suggest they talk with someone who I thought would. I wouldn't just ignore them.

I sorta feel like there's a click in this place too.. It's agravating sometimes. I ask questions and it's like... I know there are people here who know the answers..but just can't take the 2 seconds it takes to respond. I mean... call me what you like, but I am very respected elsewhere. I go out of my way to help people whenever they need anything. I honestly got little to no help from anyone here...with the exception of a few people... when i was pulling my hair out swapping my DET in. I mean...look at the responses in this post. ONE out of all of them actually mean anything usefull. I'm sorry, I'm not down with the "click" here.... and I don't know everything.. Searching sometimes reveals nothing. What's the point of having a forum if you can't ask questions. It's realy pointless to rant because this is the internet, but I realy don't care. I've met the people here who do help out and I just call on them when I need help. You guys know who you are and I appreciate it. No.. I don't have a 500whp SR powered car... and no I haven't been here from the start... sorry. I'm just an average "joe" looking for help. So... bring on the insults that I know will come...

Travis, don't get me wrong. I dind't consider your question here a newbie question at all. I just dind't know the answer to it. I don't have experience with this turbo so I didn't feel qualified to answer. I think others should do the same. If they don't have direct experience with a certain topic, then don't reply. I don't care what you have read. I guess you can cut and paste what other people who have experience with it. I'm just really tired of people asking what power gains can be had with a T25 or like what do they need to go turbo when all that has been answered 50 million times. There is a WEALTH of knowledge in the archives in sr20deforum AND www.se-r-list.org. There will be far more information gained from searching for the information, than from people replying to the question.

Trav, terrin is both right and slightly wrong. The archives have wayyy too much info. and sometimes it is hard to find, I have spent countless hours/days/weeks looking thru them to learn to the point I have now. I don't bash anyone that doesn't help if the info is in the archives or they don't know the answer, I do not appreciate people that put smartass comments though(who sometime know the answers). I think we all need to help each other out, period. So if you know where in the archives the answer is, please send a link, if you don't know or don't wanna help just don't comment, Period. This is just what I think though, I belive the info posted by RaserX is correct within 10-20% of those levels, since I don't know for sure I will search and let you know the answer,
