I think I stuck the tie rod end boot dust covers over my balls joints! Hey it fit at the time!:D My three questions are is the dust covers over the tie rod ends worth putting on and does it improve handling? And with the dust covers over the ball joints what is that going to do now and over time? TIA. 98sr20ve 05-22-2002, 08:02 AM Didn't you put two brand new Ball Joints on your car? After that did you slip the ES Dust covers over those new Ball Joints? That shouldn't hurt anything. The salesman told me they are just to repair a torn boot. They don't/can't improve handling.
