Very good mod, straight forward to install, excellent bang-for-your-buck mod, and you'll find the throws being much much shorter. No more horse cock of a shifter!!! Kelway 05-25-2002, 12:50 AM Yeah, I've had the PS shifter for about 2 mo's, and it is a huge improvement over the stock shifter. I wouldn't hesitate to do it again. While we are taking about this shifter... Has anyone's got the same thread pattern as the stock shifter? Because mine don't. I custom made a SS couterbalanced shift knob, and threaded it to fit the stock shifter, but had to redo it for the PS.
