hey guys im new here im new here my name is hemi and i have just recently purchsed a nissan sentra twin cam SR. What i would like to know is does anyone know any info of this engine as i have tryed to look for i on google but with no luck. if anyone can help me here could you plz post here with info or a website that has some knowledge on it as i wish to turbo it and do some boring too it. below are some specs for it if it helps at all

is the valvecover blue or lite goldish?

sr16ve the valve cover is red aye. also on the block it says that it it was the 11th car in the manufacturing line

your going to put a vvl in a b12 correct?

i want to keep this engine but if i need to i will be going to just need info on this motor forst before making mind up

CA16DE motor, definitely not an SR16VE.

1988 model confirms it.

The CA16DE motor is a horrible motor that is best used as a boat anchor. Fit a CA18DET and enjoy the extra power!
