I installed a double row radiator when I saw how tiny the factory radiator was. I first installed the single row factory unit that came with my SE-R and I had about a 3/8" gap between the fan and the radiator. After I installed the double row the heat shields are actually touching (barely), the heatshield on the fan will flex about 3/4" with no problems, I am wondering if this will be sufficient for the shifting of the motor. However, this does concern me alittle, I am considering getting a slim fan for the passenger side fan. I have read that the AutoZone fans will gain me an extra 1/2" or more of clearance. Any recommendations?
