Anyone know who sells these for the NX. I called Carbotech and the guy wanted to charge me over 90 dollars for the fronts. I know these go for around 50.

Thanks,
Tim

ultimates? or metal masters??

if ultimates are ~50 for nxs then they are 50 or less for SE-Rs and if they are only 50 then hell i and everyone else could afford them!!! <yoda> 50 dollars yes these metal masters are</yoda> :D

i think 90 for ultimates is a reasonable price.

www.Brakeco.com has them for around 50 or 60 but he said they are on backorder.

I bought a set for the AD22VF's from www.brakewarehouse.com a couple months ago. In fact I have a set for a classic forsale if anyone is interested. $40 bucks shipped.

Damn Tim, you're getting serious about this aren't you? You ride in my car, go right out and get a GC suspension, now you're getting Ultimate pads...

:D

If your gonna do it do it right. :D

Where did you get your Ultimates and how much?

I think Larry at Carbotech is trying to rip me off.

I didn't get Ultimates. They didn't exist when I got my pads. I'm using KVR brake pads. From what I've been told, they are the same pad material as Porterfield R4-S. But they were only $70 shipped to me.

My next set will be Carbotech's Kellated Metallic. The cold stopping friction coefficient number I've seen is fantastic (~.58, IIRC). Great torque, easy modulation.

He tried to charge me over $90 dollars. I think he's trying to get more because no one has these in stock.

I think that really sucks. I may call him again and see what he tells me this time.
