Hi, I read that a lot of aftermarket air filters can cause bad MAF readings because of the sharp corners some of the intakes have.

1)what if I had a good amount of piping before the air goes to the MAF, would this give it normal readings?

2)Which intakes are good for our cars if the filter is straight attatched to the MAF?

unless you are having problems i say leave it, or get a jwt pop charger maybe they have a smooth curved edge designed to help with air flow.

yeah, i'm going to just run a generic cone for now. Do you guys know if the K and N oil messes up the wire in the MAF?

ANY oil will screw with the maf wire. just don't over oil the filter after cleaning and you'll be ok
