Just got the e rack in my car and the shaft sizes are different and the steering knuckle is too large to clamp onto the e rack shaft. I was wondering if some one who did this already can just let me know if you need just the steering shaft and knuckle from the E as well or do i need the whole column. Thanks in advance.

What is the benefit of this swap? Quicker ratio?

The benifit of the swap to me is loosing the power steering pump/pulley and im using the electric water pump so i can drop my car down to one belt cause the alternator can tension its self. Building a straight line car but it will be a semi daily driver other wise would of just plugged the power steering rack and saved the hassle. Also save some weight from the car as well!

Meziere makes the water pump kit, i got it from summit, comes with everything you need to change over. I used it on my daily driver for about 4 months no problems at all. Now use it ocasionaly and still fine no issues with over heating.
