Okay guys, i am about to take off my Valve Cover for the first time so im really going slow in removeing the hoses from the VC. Well i have a 99 SE-L and on the front right of the VC there is a black box that is coming from what looks to be the exhaust of the sr20. Coming out of the blackbox is another tube connecting to the top right of the VC wich then splits into a tube connecting to the intake. Okay well when i unbolted the black box and took off the hose there was fresh oil in the hose. Im guessing this is the EGR system, and im thinking to my self why in the hell is there oil in my exuast system!?!? Help please :)

That's not the EGR. There's supposed to be oil in there. Don't worry about it.

Thats the oil collector, not the egr, and your car is a 99, no more egr.
