My speedo doesn't work so I took off the gauge cluster to take a look at things. So it's a 92 nx2000 and I took the cable off of the gauge cluster. Is this supposed to spin when the wheel are turning? If it is then I guess that's why its not working because I took it off the cluster and then drove the car and it does not spin.

It may have snaped the cable, or the male end that goes into the tranny has broke. Oh and yea it is supposed to spin when driving the car.
