On a 96-up cat, which end is the O2 Sensor on? Towards the front of the car or the back?
AND, will installing a cat backwards hurt it?
When I did my exhaust I got a cat from a 96 and put it on; the studs were opposite the end with the O2 sensor, so right now the O2 sensor is at the back. My exhaust doesn't smell wrong and I don't have to pass emissions until the end of 2003, but I need to know what's up.
