I found some used struts I wanna send Steve Foltz but I wonder If they are too ugly? I would rather send him something cleaner than this so do you guys think are these safe to drive on while I send him my own struts?

Hard to tell if I can use them. I would take them to a sand blaster locally and ask him if he can sand blast them with out the struts loosing to much metal.

Sandblast and paint should solve that ugliness.

i think if they are sturdy dont worry about cleaning em up. but I would send better ones to steve. If Im reading this right steve must be some one that modifyies your strut and you get it back with whatever work he did. all assumption here i guess.
edit: steve is 98sr20ve? doesnt steve do the konig inserts. I'd send him some decent struts thats for sure.

Close. Eastern Canada FTMFW! Not too far from the Titanic actually...
Haha, yeah these are from a parts car out east. I bet most struts look like this out there. The swaybar is non-moving solid metal so I'll just wire brush the hell out of it and give it a healthy coat of rustoleum. I don't think I'll send the struts to Steve, I'll just put 'em on my car and cross my fingers while I send him my clean stockers. They are ugly but not leaking or anything. Just gotta make sure they're sturdy.
